The House

So a few of you crazys want to see my miniature house, I am nothing but a slave to the masses wills LoL
First pic, the doll house from the front, yes the porch lights are on :)
the house is 2 ft, 2 in tall, sooooo, 26 ft if it was in real life. You can see my mess of stair case bits and "plans" out front.
second pic, the doll houses left side, it's left your right if you were standing in front of it.
The bottom floor is taken up with living room and dining room, the corner beyond the blue chair is where the pesty stairs should go.
the top floor is boys room, hallway and master bedroom.
third pics, doll houses right side, it's right your left if you were standing in front of it.
the bottom floor is kitchen, bathroom and the hallway coming from the living room, the top floor is the other side of the master bedroom, hallway and school room.

I tried to take some close ups of each room but my camera sucks, they turned out very badly, if you have a facebook you can go look at their hideousness, I posted them there just because but I need to have Styles take some great pics of the interior with his snazzy camera.
Oh and some crappy not to scale plans of my stair problem are in the doll house album on facebook too, so if any math whizzes want to have a crack at making stairs...

So nuts and bolts info is this, the house was built for me by Da, it's not a kit house where everything is all ready for you and all you gotta do is assemble it and decorate, it was made with a set of plans and a sheet of 3/8th inch plywood, talk about a lot of measuring, marking, cutting, gluing and nailing! Da also did the wiring, siding and shingles for little me :) I was given a complete set of crappy furniture when I first started, Ma assembled it all and I helped paint/stain everything, nothing great but enough to play with. I love doing crafts so slowly I began getting kits and making nicer furniture, most(if not all) the wooden pieces in the house currently I made, beds, dressers, couch, everything in there was constructed out of impossibly small pieces of wood.
As you can see in the pics I have a lot of work to do, almost every room needs new flooring, every room needs baseboards, I have to figure out something for the master bedroom walls, I got that special wall paper at a fancy miniature store ages ago and I don't think I'll ever find it again. New lights are needed in four rooms, and I might replace a few others just because I can. small touches really bring miniatures to life and I need to acquire those, like metal handles on the windows, curtain rods(and curtains) books, pencils, maps, etc in the school room. I have a lot of work ahead of me but I am so excited to be doing this again :)
