Dust, frogs, poop and princes.

What a day
I spent the better part of the morning working on the mini house, I have a bunch of things that need fresh paint or varnish, and that damn varnish takes SO many coats to look good, I want it smooth and shiny! I also got a brain storm for having more space in the Boy's room, loft one of the beds! the ceilings in the house are 10', and that will put it near the dormer window too, that's cool, I'd sleep there.

Then it was outside to clean up dog doo, there was a lot of doo from only having one dog, I think he invites his friends over when I'm not looking.

As I was outside I decided it was time to set up the trampoline, so I drug out the box of springs and the basket with the mat in it, setting all those springs is a workout on the arms!

Afternoon is barn time for me, the usual round of clean, set up for tonight, etc. I also added a piece of plywood in pony's stall, there were two beams that stuck out from one wall and she insisted on rubbing her ass on them, makes for a dirty beam and a horribly ratty looking tail, before you ask(pd) no she doesn't have worms and yes I do clean her "nevermind" quite regularly, I think she rubs because it's a habit and she's bored.
Then it was onto working with my TB, he's a hand full, I don't ride him right now(I don't have a death wish) so that means lots of marching on my part, today I drove him around the south pasture *pant*

Now I am eating my post-barn snack, Froggy eyed Salad YUMMM! and that made me think of a song I just had to share.




In case you are wondering, he is a prince, but he did start as a frog :}
